Last week, Chris Hudson and Nick Hill flew the flag for IBSA Group and the Manufacturing Jobs and Skills Council with several positive discussions about the benefit the Jobs and Skills Council will bring to training providers and learners.

The event was attended by many education providers and industry members who all shared a strong reinforcement of the benefits of WorldSkills.

WorldSkills research continues to demonstrate the value that their activities bring to students and apprentices. For example, the latest research from their skills excellence program from last year found 95% claimed involvement motivated them to compete training whilst 95% said it improved skills in the workplace.

It was great to be part of the WorldSkills Australia Networking for Excellence event and IBSA is looking forward to the National Competitions in August with over 500 people competing and showcasing their skills in Melbourne.
