IBSA Manufacturing was the Skills Service Organisation (SSO) for the Manufacturing Industry until December 2022. During that time our role was to identify and document emerging trends and future workforce needs through consultation and research.
We did this via our industry networks and partnerships with industry bodies and influencers. Our research, analysis and recommendations provided the background for Industry Reference Committees (IRCs) to develop training packages and qualifications for the manufacturing sector. Our expertise was in converting industry skills needs into occupational standards within national qualifications.
