IBSA Manufacturing will have facilitated meetings of all Manufacturing IRCs by mid November.
This round of meetings helps confirm priorities for the coming months. Each IRC will have reviewed the progress on its projects, consultations, cases for change, industry engagement and the development of 2019 Industry Skills Forecasts.
The Aerospace IRC met at the Qantas Training Rooms at Sydney Airport and Adam Luckhurst, the Branch Manager from the Commonwealth Department of Education and Training, attended the Process Manufacturing, Recreational Vehicles and Laboratory IRC meeting.
Members of the Furnishing IRC will get a chance to visit leading glass and aluminium windows and doors firm, G.James, as part of their meeting on 30 October. G.James was profiled in last month’s IBSA newsletter. To read the full case study click here
