IBSA Manufacturing is currently progressing two Cases for Change on behalf of our Industry Reference Committees.

The following two Cases for Change are NOW open for consultation:

Process Manufacturing, Recreational Vehicle and Laboratory IRC – MSL Training Package
The Case for Change relates to developing a Point of Care Testing skill set.

Point of Care Testing improves patient outcomes by providing pathology testing at the time of consultation. The proposed skill set will provide pathology workers and other health workers an opportunity to gain the skills required to provide accurate and timely test results.

Textiles, Clothing and Footwear IRC – MST Training Package
The Case for Change relates to developing an Industrial Sewing skill set.

Industrial sewing has been identified as a core skill critical to a number of advanced textiles industries such as soft furnishing, upholstery, blinds and awnings, leather and canvas, specialised textiles, motor/marine trimming and automotive aftermarket products. The proposed industrial sewing skill set will allow workers with experience in the Textiles, Clothing and Footwear industries to broaden their skills so that they can work across the various industries where industrial sewing skills are needed.
