TAFE Directors Australia’s TAFEtalks event on Imagining an Integrated VET and Higher Education Future saw Philip Clarke, General Manager Industry Engagement IBSA Group, join an expert panel with Jodi Schmidt, CEO Human Services Skills Organisation (HSSO), Paul Walsh, CEO Australian Industry Standards, and Mary Faraone, CEO Holmesglen Institute.
Jenny Dodd, CEO TAFE directors Australia led the wide ranging discussions that covered topics including the new industry cluster model, competency based training, the need for industry to drive the process and #microcredentials with respect to VET and higher education.
The insightful chat was also an opportunity for prospective Industry Cluster organisations to speak about their approaches and ideas for improving collaboration between VET and Higher Education.
