It is a federal government initiative to enable consumers to search for, and compare, VET courses and training providers. My Skills receives overnight data updates directly from training.gov.au.

VETNet

VETNet is a national repository system commissioned by the Department of Education and Training to store documents relating to Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Australian Qualifications Framework

The Australian Qualifications Framework  (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework.

Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority

The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) is the statutory authority responsible for ensuring that employers of apprentices and trainees and providers of education and training, meet quality standards, and that information is readily available to support informed choice in education and training.

National Centre for Vocational Education Research

The National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) collects, analyses and evaluates research and statistics about vocational education and training (VET) nationally.

Training Accreditation Council Western Australia (TAC)

The Training Accreditation Council (TAC) is Western Australia’s registering and course accrediting body. It is responsible for the quality assurance and recognition of vocational education and training (VET) services in WA.
