Your contribution
One phone or zoom discussion on your organisation’s approach to circularity and/or sustainability.
You could also review the Training Products during development and give feedback.
The review process
As part of the national Training System, IBSA Manufacturing supports the Sustainability Industry Reference Committee (IRC) to identify industry skill needs in sustainability and related areas including circularity and environmental monitoring and technology.
These needs are addressed through the development of national vocational education and training (VET) qualifications and units of competency, which are the framework for nationally consistent industry-relevant workforce training.
The review process includes two rounds of public consultation on draft Training Products prior to final approval by the IRC and endorsement by the Australian Industry Skills Council. View the project page for details.
National Training Products
Nationally endorsed qualifications can only be delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). RTOs work with industry to combine units to suit employer needs, within the qualification packaging rules.
The units of competency can be used by any organisation to guide the development of workplace training, induction and policies and procedures. Download units of competency (free) at https://training.gov.au/
