MSS Sustainability 2017 Training Package Consultation
Consultation on draft two MSS Sustainability 2017 training package components has now closed. Thank you to those stakeholders who provided comment. The feedback has been collated and reviewed by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) to shape the final updates, and has been approved by the Sustainability Industry Reference Committee (IRC) for final submission.
The Case for Endorsement and related training package components are scheduled to be submitted to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee by 15 June 2018. Once the Case for Endorsement has been accepted by the Department of Education and Training (Commonwealth), the draft training package components will be made available on the IBSA website.
Project Update November 2017
IBSA Manufacturing, in consultation with the Sustainability Industry Reference Committee (IRC), established a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) to provide specific subject matter advice and technical expertise for the development and review of the MSS Sustainability training package components, and to develop a new Skill Set – Lead Energy and Greenhouse Gas Improvements.
Project Update October 2017
IBSA Manufacturing, in consultation with the Sustainability Industry Reference Committee (IRC), established a technical advisory committee (TAC) to provide specific subject matter advice and technical expertise for the development and review of the training package components.
The TAC met in August to discuss the requirements of Carbon Auditing job roles and are currently considering a draft Skills Set and 65 units from 6 qualifications in line with job role requirements and to comply with standards for training package development
Draft training package components are expected to be available for broader review soon.
