Project Overview

IBSA Group partnered with the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) COVID-19 Emergency Response Sub-committee to help the national training system rapidly respond to critical workforce needs.

As part of the national COVID-19 response, we  developed resources for a new skill set COVID-19 Critical Skills Point of Care Testing, This skill set supports those facing the frontline challenges of COVID 19 diagnosis and testing for after diagnosis care and includes the following units:

• MSL974030 Process body fluid specimens using a point of care testing device
  Point of care testing for COVID-19 diagnosis 
• HLTPAT003 Perform capillary blood collections 
  Testing for after diagnosis care

The resources are freely available to RTOs for approximately six months and include online, digital and printed workbooks.

Although eLearning resources are locked, facilitators’ resources can be adapted as required.
